On May 1,2009, the FAA issued a "Notice of Retroactive Payment for FLSA Overtime." NATCA bargaining unit members began receiving this Notice late last week. The FAA issued this Notice directly to employees without providing prior notice to NATCA or the law firm Woodley& McGillivary - that is representing ATCA members in the NATCA sponsored FLSA lawsuit entitled Abbey v. Us. which is currently pending in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
